Octagonal pillow with slightly concave, forward-slopping top and slightly curving sides. Grey stoneware covered with white slip and transparent glaze. Painted undergalze decoration in black
iron pigment on the top: a carp swimming amidst lotus flower and leaves on a striated wave-patterned ground, bordered by wide and narrow
lines following the outline of the pillow; stylized half-palmette scrolls around the sides.
